Every few years the Latin and Othodox Easter fall on the same day and millions flock to the site of some of the most sacred sites in the Christian faith – The Via Delarosa, the tomb of the Virgin Mary, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
In East Jerusalem, everything seems holy. The light between the narrow streets break through with glory onto the worn, cobblestone paths. To many modern-day pilgrims, who flock from all over the world to pay homage to their ancient religious roots, ritual serves as a rite of passage in their spiritual quest.
